A season of growth, gratitude, and graduation
Dear Cosmo Community,
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed spending significantly more time in our Kraków school over the last few weeks, and shuttling each week between our two campuses I am in a state of constant awe at the immense amount of excitement, work, ambition, creativity and passion on display.
From being swept up in Shakespeare performances, show stopping book week celebrations, experiential learning and lessons that can’t help but inspire and draw in passers by; there is something truly magical about daily life at Cosmo.

Admissions
The summer term is a busy period for all members of the school community, and our school offices are bustling with new admissions for September. It was amazing to see over 30 families attend an opening morning in Kraków last Saturday, and the regular stream of new students passing through our schools on tours each and every day.
Though we’ve grown enormously from just 80 students in 2020, prospective families still comment without fail on the unique buzz around campus and how they too wish they could have attended a school like ours. Looking ahead to September, Cosmo will be home to over 400 students from over 30 different countries! We continue to welcome families from around the world relocating to Poland; and those moving from other schools who value our uniquely caring, individual and forward-thinking approach.
You may also have noticed that we recently launched a brand new school website! I’d like to thank everyone involved in this mammoth task. Our new site really is a functional work of art that allows new and existing families to dive into life at Cosmo. If you haven’t done so already, please do take a look around and make sure to have a look at the Cosmo film!

SchoolHub
Cosmo started with a very clear mission – to redefine the quality of international education in Poland; and this has entered an entirely new space of critical importance and much anticipation by parents.
We have long shared the frustration and disdain with other schools of the poor quality of compliance software available for schools in Poland. Not only are the main players in this space chronically outdated technologically, they establish a damaging approach to metrics in learning from all ages.
Because of this, Cosmo has partnered with an amazing team of developers based on the top floor of our Wrocław campus, to launch SchoolHub, an incredible tool for schools to connect learning, compliance, assessment data, scheduling, attendance, organisation and much more within one slick, beautifully designed app.
Our teachers have been using SchoolHub over the course of this year as our digital dziennik ahead of a full scale launch with dedicated student and teacher apps ready for September 2026! SchoolHub is already creating a buzz in the private school sector around Poland, and several international schools across the country will be joining us in saying goodbye to punitive metrics and embracing a digital dziennik for the future, complete with an adorable AI assistant to allow accessing, visualising and analysing data with ease.
Cosmo parents will be the first to gain access to SchoolHub, with a full-scale trial launched for June ahead of the new school year for those interested in being an early adopter and offering feedback on the design and functionality. I look forward to sharing updates very soon!
Examinations
In the blink of an eye, we are now entering the last few weeks of the academic year, and for our older students, this marks the beginning of the examination season. Looking ahead at the 8th Class (Y9), IGCSE (Y11), AS (Y12) and A Level (Y13) exams, the achievements and ambitions of our students resound.
Our curriculum continues to grow, now offering 14 IGCSE and 16 AS & A Level subjects, creating more pathways for student success across both technological and humanities disciplines. Notably, we have introduced Computer Science at IGCSE, alongside new advanced courses such as Geography, Media Studies, Further Mathematics and Travel and Tourism. Mathematics remains the most popular subject, with over half of our Year 12 and 13 students choosing it, while strong interest continues in English Literature and Media Studies, highlighting both analytical and creative strengths across our student body.
This year will also be Cosmo’s third graduating class, and there are no surprises that our students have truly gone global! We proudly have a 100% university admissions rate, with Cosmo scholars gaining admissions to universities in the USA, UK, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Saudi Arabia, South Korea and right here in Poland in Warsaw, Poznań and Wrocław.

It’s helpful to think of an individual student’s exam results as their passport. We still live in a world in which the end results of a defined phase of learning mark passage to the next. I am immensely proud of the opportunities we provide to every High School student at Cosmo to dream big, aim high and achieve fully. Crucially, the Cosmo High School experience is unique in Poland in that we nurture and support every single student within individual careers’ counselling and university admissions guidance, crafting applications and guiding students to find the course and institution that is best for them.
This year we have also successfully secured scholarships for Cosmo students to study at universities in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands! This is testament not only to their academic achievements, but to the truly unique qualities they bring to further study through their embodiment of our values-driven education, portfolios of successes beyond the examination hall and of course, academic achievement.
I will state proudly that I would never work in a school that denies opportunities to any single student, nor will I ever allow the success of our students to be crassly summarised in the form of an average. Our students’ dreams are not statistics – they are heartfelt ambitions that I will always defend and ensure our schools offer the care and individual support to achieve more than they ever felt possible and experience joy, pride and happiness while doing so.
With best wishes,
Graham Lewis

Had I the heavens’ embroidered cloths,
– W. B. Yeats
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.
