Cosmopolitan School is not an ordinary school. We deliver the British curriculum — from Early Years through to Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level — inside a genuinely international community where dozens of nationalities learn side by side.

We hold full MEN accreditation, making us the first school in Poland to deliver the Polish national curriculum entirely in English. Every lesson is taught by qualified, experienced international teachers who bring global perspectives into the classroom every day.

Whether your family has just arrived in Poland or you are looking for an alternative to the local system, Cosmo offers the academic rigour, pastoral care, and welcoming environment that internationally-minded families are looking for.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions families ask most often about Cosmopolitan School.
Is Cosmo a good school for expat children?
Absolutely. Cosmopolitan School was designed with relocating families in mind. Teaching is entirely in English, we follow the British curriculum for seamless academic continuity, and our pastoral care team helps every child settle in quickly. Many of our students have attended international schools in other countries before joining us.
What extracurricular activities are available?
We offer a wide range of after-school activities including creative arts, sports, coding and robotics, additional languages, sustainability projects, and leadership programmes. The programme changes each term so students can try new things throughout the year.
Where do the international teachers come from?
Our teachers are qualified subject specialists recruited from the UK, Ireland, the USA, South Africa, and Australia. They are native or near-native English speakers with significant international school experience and a passion for student-centred learning.
My child doesn't speak Polish — is that a problem?
Not at all. All lessons are taught in English, so your child can participate fully from day one. Polish language lessons are included in the timetable and tailored to different proficiency levels, so non-Polish speakers receive appropriate support while building their skills over time.
Can my child transfer mid-year?
Yes. We understand that relocations do not always align with the academic calendar. We accept mid-year enrolments and our admissions team will work with you to ensure a smooth transition, including academic assessments and a personalised settling-in plan.
What's the difference between the Kraków and Wrocław campuses?
Both campuses deliver the same British curriculum and share the same teaching philosophy. The Kraków campus serves students aged 5 to 18, while the Wrocław campus caters for ages 3 to 18 and includes a dedicated Early Years programme. Each campus has its own vibrant community and local partnerships.
Is Cosmo a private school?
Yes. Cosmopolitan School is a private international school with full MEN accreditation. This means we operate independently while meeting all Polish regulatory requirements, giving families the assurance that our qualifications are recognised both locally and internationally.
