Early Years

Joyful Exploration through Play-Based Learning.

Wrocław preschool is a happy, vibrant place where children take their first steps into education. Carefully planned environments and nurturing, experienced teachers create a supportive space for exploration and discovery.

Small class sizes allow staff to build strong relationships with children and families, understanding each child’s strengths and needs from the start. Children delight in exploring the new and unknown, through a play-based curriculum that responds to their interests.

Play-led and Inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach.

Children are treated as competent learners and encouraged to explore their own lines of enquiry. “Learning by doing” is central: children lead small projects and access open resources with close guidance from staff in small class groups.

Areas of Learning

Children Follow an Exciting Weekly Schedule With All the Advantages of Being on a Whole-School Campus

Our youngest learners benefit from a close-knit, family-like environment – one of Cosmo’s defining characteristics, while accessing specialist lessons in Art, Music, and PE, taught by dedicated teachers in purpose-built spaces.

The Preschool day is structured into periods focusing on Literacy, Numeracy, Child-Initiated Learning (CIL), and specialist lessons in the afternoons. Children regularly enjoy our ecological garden, greenhouse, and outdoor learning deck, providing opportunities for sensory play, environmental exploration, and real-world discovery. This approach gives every child the chance to explore, learn and grow within a supportive, engaging environment.

Sharing Children’s Learning

Learning is Shared and Celebrated

Learning is captured through frequent observations, digital journals, photos and short reflections. Parents receive regular updates, forming a rich record of their child’s growth that informs the next steps in their learning.

Learning Goes Beyond the Classroom.

Frequent local walks, community visits, and outdoor learning connect children to their surroundings while supporting curriculum goals. These experiences develop language, confidence, social skills, and curiosity, helping children apply what they learn in meaningful, real-world contexts.
