Primary

Laying the Foundations for Lifelong Curiosity

Central to our Primary education is the joy of exploration. Through enquiry-led themes, students are encouraged to discover, create and build knowledge as they spread their wings, experiment, make meaningful discoveries and learn through real-world experiences.

The English National Curriculum provides the basis for our ambitious curriculum, with a strong focus on English and Maths. At the same time, our English-language curriculum is fully compliant with the Polish MEN programme, ensuring that students’ progress is formally recognised by both systems.

Areas of Learning

Preparing Students to Navigate a World at Their Fingertips

Every unit of learning is built around an exciting theme, guiding students to lead their own enquiries. We don’t just communicate knowledge – we teach students how to ask questions, form hypotheses, and design their own investigations.

Each unit and assessment is closely linked to our six Cosmopolitan Values, sparking curiosity and passion from the very start. Subjects connect meaningfully to the overarching topic, allowing children to explore concepts, ideas, and real-world issues in depth.

Individualised Learning

We believe learning should adapt to each student, not the other way around. Assessment is authentic and multi-faceted, tracking knowledge, enquiry and effort through digital portfolios that capture progress and keep parents connected to learning.

Sharing Children’s Learning

Student Assessment

We don’t use points, grades or percentages. Instead, assessment is rounded and growth-focused, considering three areas:

• Knowledge & Understanding
• Enquiry & Investigation
• Effort & Attitude

Children keep digital learning portfolios that show their work, progress and reflections. These guide assessment, support clear conversations with parents, and help teachers plan personalised next steps. Feedback is regular, practical and focused on growth.

Our Individualised Approach Builds Independent Learning

Blending the English National Curriculum and the Polish MEN programme, our Primary curriculum offers a bespoke, rigorous and age-appropriate pathway. Project-based and enquiry-led, it replaces rote textbook methods with rich, meaningful learning experiences that meet both systems in full.

Each year group follows four bespoke units built around exciting enquiry themes. These units connect subjects in purposeful ways, encouraging collaboration, investigation and real-world application.
